Autodidacta, mejoró su técnica y amplió sus conocimientos teóricos y técnicos estudiando en el "Instituto de Música y Tecnología" de Madrid donde estudió con Chema Vílchez y Ramón Paus. Al terminar sus estudios ocupó una plaza como profesor de instrumento en dicha academia y comenzó su labor como profesor particular. Su estilo está influido por la música americana propia del siglo XX: Jazz (Swing, Be Bop...), Blues, Country & Western (Western Swing, Hillbilly). Admirador incondicional de Django Reinhardt, Chet Atkins y Merle Travis, estudió a fondo la técnica de estos artistas. Con sus grupos actuó en varios festivales en Inglaterra, Alemania y Francia.

Self taught, he improved his technique and enlarged his theoretical knowledge studying in the "Instituto de Música y Tecnología" of Madrid where he studied with Chema Vílchez and Ramón Paus. When finishing his studies he became instrument professor in this academy .
